602 and 603 - MW 42 and 43
Regional DMU with hydraulic transmission, built in 1954 and 55. The 602 / 42 differ from the 603 / 43 with a 1st class compartment. 400 KW, 90 Km/h.
602 - MW 42
These DMU, with a 1st class compartment and a bigger baggages compartment, were designed to relations between Bruxelles and its airport. All were transformed to MW 43 in the seventies.
6 units : 602.01 to 06, renumbered 4336 to 4336 in 1970 (except some units already transformed in 603/43).
A seventh unit (602.07) is the former 603.26, transformed to a 602 in 1958, but modified back to a 603 with its original number in 1961.
