<Descr0>BBB electric locomotives are an italian speciality (shared with the swiss Re 6/6), because this configuration is well suited for powerful locomotives destined to run on sinuous lines. There were several generations, initialy with an articulated body, then with a monobloc body for the last generation. Elles ont souvent existé en des déclinaisons spécifiques marchandises et voyageurs. There often were different series for freight and for passengers services.</Descr0>
